ECCO has the following objectives:
~ To reach and enrol ecology sensitive people related to Chennai's East Coast Road
~ To spread awareness of environmental issues, news, information, laws, ideas and solutions
~To encourage environment sensitive practices in regards to water, waste, sanitation, noise and flora
~To discourage use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides, non-biodegradables that would lead to litter, and water and noise polluting devices
~To reach underpriveleged citizens through ECCO members in order to motivate them to adopt environment senstive life styles
~To encourage ECCO members to spread environment consciousness , to rally in support of one another, to protest environment abuse and to lobby for enforcement of existing laws.
