"Enough is enough," say the members of ECCO, resident in Muttukkadu. Between the Green Coconut Resort, MGM Dizzie World and MGM Beach Resort, violation of noise pollution laws are raging blatantly, leaving no peace for law-abiding citizens. Polite representations to the resorts and complaints to the police, have brought about no peace. It seems laws of India donot apply outside Chennai city. ECCO members have now come together to take their case to all democratic institutions available to citizens of India. These are the political leaders, beureaucracy, the press, the judiciary and the NGOs.

As a first step, a delegation went in two cars to the Collectorate in Kancheepuram on Apr 26,2004 to present a comprehensive memorandum signed by 28 citizens.Above is a picture of the delegation in front of the Collector's office.
